Quick Launch Program
In the fast-paced world of fashion, emerging designers and first-time founders often face the daunting challenge of testing the market and launching their brands without committing to large inventory volumes. And if you are reading this, you must be exploring the idea of finding clothing manufacturers with low MOQs.
This dilemma can lead to endless hours spent searching for ready-made products from nearby wholesalers, which may not always align with their unique vision. The solution to this predicament lies in the Quick Launch Program by Hula Global– an innovative approach designed to expedite the process of bringing your fashion brand to life.
In this blog post, we will delve into the details of our quick launch program, explaining each step to help you understand how this program can lead to your end goal of finding a clothing supplier with low MOQs.
Quick Launch Program in a Nutshell
Our Quick Launch Program is a strategic method that takes your reference images or designs and propels them straight to the pre-production sample stage, bypassing the traditional product development process. This efficient approach can save you time, money, and resources, making it an ideal solution for emerging fashion brands looking to test the waters with small quantities before fully committing.
Step 1: Feasibility
The first step in the Quick Launch Program is the “Feasibility” stage. This is where you lay the foundation for your project by providing essential information to the apparel manufacturer. Here’s what this step entails:
Reference Images & Designs
To kickstart the process, you need to supply reference images and designs that reflect your vision. These can be sketches, drawings, or images that clearly depict the styles and aesthetics you have in mind. These references serve as the blueprint for your fashion line.
Quantities per Style and Total Styles
In this stage, you specify the quantities you wish to produce for each style, as well as the total number of styles you want to include in your collection. This information helps the manufacturer understand the scale of your project.
The feasibility stage is crucial as it sets the foundation for the entire production process. The provided details enable the manufacturer to evaluate the project’s viability and move forward to the next step
Step 2: Quotation
Once you’ve provided the necessary reference images, designs, and quantity information, the manufacturer will proceed to the “Quotation” stage. Here’s what happens in this step:
Based on the data you’ve supplied, the manufacturer will calculate tentative pricing for your project. This pricing will provide you with a rough estimate of the production costs, which is essential for your budgeting and planning.
With the tentative pricing in hand, you now have the information needed to make an informed decision. You can evaluate whether the estimated costs align with your budget and business goals. This step allows you to decide whether to proceed with the production process or explore alternative options.
The quotation stage is pivotal in helping you assess the financial feasibility of your project and decide whether to move forward or make adjustments.
Step 3: Samples
If you choose to move forward with the quotations provided in the previous step, you’ll progress to the “Samples” stage. This phase is a critical milestone in the Quick Launch Program:
To initiate the sample creation process, you’ll need to pay for sample charges. These charges cover the cost of producing the initial samples. Keep in mind that creating samples is an essential part of the process, allowing you to physically assess the quality, fit, and design of your products before full-scale production.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the courier costs associated with shipping the samples to your location. This cost ensures that you receive the samples promptly and can make an informed decision about your product.
The “Samples” stage provides you with tangible prototypes of your designs, enabling you to evaluate the quality and make any necessary adjustments before moving on to the final step.
Step 4: Placing Your Order
Upon receiving the samples and thoroughly assessing them, you have the opportunity to make any final refinements or changes to ensure that your vision is realized. Once you are satisfied with the samples, you can proceed to the final and most exciting stage: “Placing Your Order.”
Approval and Order Placement
If the samples meet your expectations and align with your brand’s vision, you can give your approval, and the manufacturer will guide you through the process of placing your order. At this stage, you will specify the quantity of each style you want to produce based on the information provided in the “Feasibility” stage.
The process concludes with the formal placement of your production order. From this point, the manufacturer will commence the production process, bringing your fashion line to life.
The Benefits of the Quick Launch Program
The Quick Launch Program offers numerous advantages for emerging fashion brands and designers, making it an attractive option for those looking to test the waters before diving into full-scale production:
Rapid Entry into the Market
The Quick Launch Program’s streamlined approach allows you to enter the market quickly, saving you from the prolonged product development process. This speed-to-market advantage can be a game-changer, especially when you’re eager to seize opportunities and test consumer demand.
By eliminating the need for extensive product development, the Quick Launch Program can be more cost-effective for startups and emerging brands. You can minimize upfront expenses and allocate resources more efficiently.
The program allows you to mitigate risks associated with overproduction. You can start with smaller quantities, reducing the chances of excess inventory that may become obsolete or result in financial losses.
The program offers flexibility in terms of style selection and quantities. You can experiment with a variety of styles and assess which ones resonate best with your target audience without committing to large production runs.
The inclusion of the “Samples” stage ensures that you can assess and refine the quality of your products before going into full production. This quality control step helps you maintain high standards and meet customer expectations.
Is the Quick Launch Program Right for You?
While the Quick Launch Program offers a host of benefits, it may not be the best fit for every fashion brand. To determine whether this program aligns with your specific needs and goals, consider the following factors:
#1 Initial Budget: Evaluate whether the estimated pricing from the quotation stage aligns with your initial budget. If the costs are prohibitive, you may need to explore alternative sourcing options.
#2 Production Scale: Consider the scale of your project. If you’re looking to produce a very large quantity of products, the program may not be the most suitable option.
#3 Lead Time: Assess your timeline. The Quick Launch Program can expedite the process, but it still requires time for sampling and production. Ensure that the timeline aligns with your launch plans.
#4 Design Clarity: The program relies heavily on the clarity and specificity of your design and style references. If you’re uncertain about your designs or require extensive product development, traditional methods may be more appropriate.
Advantages of Quick Launch Program / Features
No MOV or Aggregate MOQs : No Minimum Order Value (MOQ) or aggregate MOQs. Only fabric MOQs apply.
If you are struggling to find private label clothing manufacturers with low MOQs and you are flexible in terms of your branding, sizing and fabric material used – then quick launch program is your best bet.
you want to start with 100 pcs in 3 styles – 300 pc, you can do so with our Quick launch plan. This means if the fabric roll produces only 100 pcs, our MOQ is 100 pcs. Period.
Time to market – Since you skip the time consuming process of product development, this translates into saving time for product development.
Cost : Since there is no product development involved, a bulk of product development costs are saved.
There are limitations to the Quick Launch program and it is only recommended for first time founders and entrepreneurs who want to test the waters without too much commitment to inventory. We talk about the limitations below:
Designing : Unlike our accelerator program and product development program, the Quick launch program does not include designers. This means NO tech packs available for you.
Product Development : To reduce the product development costs, quick launch program utilizes templated approach. If your niche is around sizes and fittings, then the Quick launch program is not for you. You would be better off doing a detailed product development.
Samples: You receive either 1 or 3 samples for every 5 styles depending upon your plan. These samples would be what you will get during production. The remaining samples & size sets can be produced during the production
Sizes : You will get jump sizes (alternate size) after you confirm the Purchase Order and before the production starts because there is a sampling process.
Branding & Labels : There would be very limited branding and customization options available under the quick launch program. Please contact your account manager to evaluate the feasibility of branding options.
Timelines : While our other programs work on very strict timelines, quick launch programs are built to optimize
Support : Only ticket and email support is available for the quick launch program. There will not be a dedicated account manager under the quick launch program.
