Our editorial teams thoroughly vets every article before anything gets published and if your article does not live up to our standard, then it will not be published.

Here is a 10-step process you need

To get started, please read the steps below:

  1. Review our editorial guidelines and how to Pitch to us below.
  2. Articles published under our guest posting program cannot be republished elsewhere. Hula Global reserves the IP rights on the articles submitted under its free guest post program. 
  3. You can reach out to [email protected] with your pitch (Read our pitch guidelines below). Our spam filters auto-delete emails sent from generic email id's like [email protected] or [email protected]. We are B2B platform and engage with other businesses so your email will reach us only if you email us from an official email address like [email protected]
  4. Share an outline of your post that makes up 20 to 30 percent of the final article with your arguments, links, H2s & H3s.
  5. Once approved, start writing your draft.
  6. Send it as an editable Google Doc to Hula Global team with 2-3 title options included.
  7. Hula Global’s Content team will review the draft and make any necessary changes. Our team keeps these edits as minor as possible, mainly looking at grammar and style. In the case of a significant edit, such as removing a section, we will communicate the changes ahead of time.
  8. Provide us with your author’s name, professional headshot, a short bio (200 characters max), and a link to your website. Please review other author's bio already listed at the bottom of each article for reference. We will also require your LinkedIn profile to verify & authenticate your profile.
  9. We will inform you of the projected publication date once you have signed off on the final version.
  10. Hula Global will tag you or your company on our social media to promote the post once published. 
  11. It is mandatory to include a cover image : (1200 x 700 px) + well researched Info graphics (900 x 1600 px or 1080 px x 1080 px) You are allowed to use 1 additional image other than the infographic and the cover post image.

Editorial - Terms & Conditions

By submitting a guest post to Hula Global, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Intellectual Property Rights: a. By submitting a guest post, you grant Hula Global the rights to use, modify, and publish the content on its platform and across its owned social media channels. b. You confirm that you are the original creator of the content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses for its use, and that the content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

2. Anti-Ghosting Rule: a. Hula Global reserves the right to follow up for corrections twice after submission of the guest post. b. You will have a maximum of 14 days (2 weeks) from the date of our follow-up for corrections to re-submit the article with the requested changes. c. Failure to submit the corrected article within the 2-week deadline grants Hula Global the right to publish the article. d. In such cases, Hula Global may assign one of its internal content writers to complete the article along with corrections. e. The corrected article will be published under the authorship of the internal content writer, and you will forfeit all intellectual property rights associated with the article. Additionally, you will not receive any backlinks from Hula Global for the published article.

3. Content Guidelines: a. Guest posts must adhere to Hula Global's content guidelines, including but not limited to relevance, accuracy, and quality. b. Hula Global reserves the right to reject or remove any guest post that does not comply with its guidelines, without providing any explanation or compensation.

4. Indemnification: a. You agree to indemnify and hold Hula Global harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your guest post, including but not limited to claims of intellectual property infringement or defamation.

5. Governing Law: a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

6. Modification of Terms: a. Hula Global reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The modified terms will be effective immediately upon posting on Hula Global's website.

7. Similar Industry: We do not accept articles that promote clothing manufacturers due to conflict of interest. If you are a clothing manufacturer, garment supplier or apparel sourcing company, then you must be part of our verified vendor network. We have a different fee structure for apparel suppliers and professionals from fashion & apparel industry. Please reach out to us [email protected] if you are from the same industry.

By submitting a guest post to Hula Global, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the rejection or removal of your guest post, and may also lead to further legal action.

Editorial Guidelines

  • All articles should be between 1500 to 2000 words, we prefer longer form, ideally over 2500 words content but we will always accept quality over quantity.
  • All articles should be written in English with correct grammar. Use Grammarly to double check for any errors.
  • Content that fails AI detection software will not be published. We are writing for Humans and not for bots and search engine.
  • Domain validity - You will receive the URL for the lifetime so it is your responsibility to maintain the domain active. We regularly conduct dead-link audit and if your URL is found to be non-functional, we will remove the URL from our website.
  • Redirection : We have a strong policy in place that forbade any redirection on the URLs that receive links from us. If your URL is found to redirect to a different website, then we reserve the right to remove that said URL from our website.
  • Anti-ghosting rule - we will follow up for correction twice and you will get a maximum of 2 weeks (14 days) to re-submit with corrections. If you fail to submit the article with corrections within these 2 weeks deadline, we reserve the right to publish the article. In such cases, we assign one of our internal content writer to complete the article along with corrections. The corrected article would then be published under the authorship of our internal content writer and you would lose
  • We are based in India and governed by the laws of India. We can only publish content that is legal in India. CBD, gambling, crypto and similar categories are banned by the government of India so we cannot include any content about those topics.
  • Abbreviations and acronyms : If there’s a chance your reader won’t recognise an abbreviation or acronym, we recommend that you spell it out the first time you mention it; then use the short version for all other follow-up references.
  • Numbers:
    • Don’t use the % symbol. Spell out the word “percent.”
    • Numbers over three digits get commas: 250,000
    • Numbers over 1 million, spell the words – million, billion, trillion
    • Spell out fractions. One-third is correct, 1/3 is incorrect
    • Decimals : Use decimal points when a number can’t be easily written out as a fraction, like 5.35 or 27.2.
  • Avoid gendered terms in favour of neutral alternatives, like “server” instead of “waitress” and “businessperson” instead of “businessman.”
  • It’s preferred to use “they” as a singular pronoun if you don’t know or haven’t confirmed the gender of the person you’re speaking about.
  • Use the following words as modifiers, but never as nouns: 
    • lesbian
    • gay
    • bisexual
    • transgender (never "transgendered")
    • trans
    • LGBT

Don’t use these words in reference to LGBT people or communities:

  • homosexual
  • lifestyle
  • preference
  • We zero tolerance towards racism. Your post must not contain any mention of race unless it is extremely important to set a context for the research article that you are going to write for us.

How to Pitch to us

Your pitch for the guest post under the write-for-us program must include the following:

#1. Name and LinkedIn profile. You will get link in author bio, so this part is very important

#2. NICHE focus - Apparel & Fashion - Did you understand what are we looking for? Highlight this point in your pitch for guest post to us.

#3. We are interested in YOU.

Tell us why you are the best person to write this particular piece (and show that in your writing when you pitch to us). We need to build your authority as an author so we need to get our audience to care about you right off the bat.

An example of YOU could be – 

  1. Your personal story? Or 
  2. An advice that no one else has shared? Or
  3. A strategy that has worked great for you? Or
  4. An insight that you have because of your personal experience

Whatever makes you related and a domain expert in your field – that would count.
